Temat postu: Cheap Supra Bandit Mid How To Find A Local Mover I
How long have they been in business?
2) Are they licensed and insured?
3) When I contact them are they able to give me a quote in writing?
4) Do they have references?
5) Are they professional from the first call?
Remember they are handling your personnel items and some of your items have been in the family for years. Let's go over the bullets one at a time so you understand why I am recommending these as an minimum when choosing a Dallas mover.
1. How long have they been in business?
The main reason for this question is that during my seven years of selling yellow pages advertising I noticed that moving companies who provide poor service do not make it in the business very long. So the longer they have been around the better chance that they provide quality services.
2) Are they licensed and insured?
This question can seem obvious but there are moving companies who try to cut cost in order to offer lower rates and will not carry quality insurance. If their team of movers is not careful with your possessions and damages several items then you are the one who loses because there is no insurance to compensate you for the losses.
3) When I contact them are they able to give me a quote in writing.
Due to the nature of service companies which have a lot of competition, there are a few different way in which the movers will provide quotes for your move. One example is they will try to appear as a better value so some will quote an hourly rate and imply that it will take less time than it actually will. As you guess, if it goes longer than you thought you pay for the actual time. The goal is to request a written bid for the job covering the total amount of the move,

, number of people on the crew(s), hours for the service,

, any boxes/padding included, start and finish times. If you have a uneasy feeling about the pricing either clarify it with the mover or find another company.
4) Do they have references?
Especially for larger moves request a list of references you can call just to verify how the service worked out for them. This is your time to determine if you can expect to get the same type of service the references claimed to have received. One note of caution, the moving compamy will only provide you will happy former customers so in addition to their references you can check with the BBB and other moving trade organizations for any complaints so you can protect yourself from good sales people selling poor services.
5) Are they professional from the first call?
As they say you only get one chance to make a first impression. If you call a local mover and get "hello" then you might want to go to the next listing. As I have found out if the company doesn't want to hire and train quality people to answer their phones than why should I expect more from the rest of the team? They should be able to answer your questions on the first call and provide you with a written estimate in a professional manner.
Good luck and make sure to take your time in choosing a local mover in Dallas Mover.
