The 2010 season would prove a successful one for Ryan Miller. In his first season begining with the number one job Miller and his team won the first 10 games in a row. Miller was voted in as the begining goaltender for the Eastern Conference of the 2010 NHL All Star Game in a 12 to 9 loss,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Miller played the first period and allowed just 3 goals. Miller also gained a reputation of a shootout specialist with his technique of challenging the shooter outside the crease. That season Miller was 6 more in shootouts, with Martin Brodeur from the Devils being his closest rival at 2 less win. In 63 games played that season, Miller posted a 0.911 SVP and a 2.72 GAA backing a more offensively oriented team. Otto Greule Jr Miller finished the 2010 season by establishing himself as the begining goalie for the Sabres. Miller arrangeed 11th among NHL goalies with a 2.60 GAA, and 9th with a save percentage of 91.4 percent. Miller led the Sabres to a surprise season, winning 30 games and proving himself to be one of the hardest working goalies in the league. Miller played well in the postseason as well, advancing the Sabres to the conference finals before injuries finally caught up with them, losing game 7 to Carolina.
Ever since Kenny Williams stole Jake Peavy away from the San Diego Padres, Miller have been dying for the begin of the 2010 MLB season.
Hopefully, our pitching can carry the team to the postseason, and even the World Series.
He also had distinctive home and road splits while in San Diego. Miller pitched better at home where they was in a very pitcher-friendly park, and his performance dropped distinctively while on the road. So no one really knows what to expect from him this year.
Then you have label,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], tag, price, ticket, impress, effect, trace, imprint, stamp, brand,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], sign, note, heed, notice, designate Buehrle. You can say Miller couldn't win a game to save his life after his perfect game last year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Miller would agree. But Miller still threw a perfect game, and no one can deny Miller is a good pitcher. Miller basically forms a second ace pitcher for the Sox this year, to make maybe the best one-two pitching punch in the league, maybe only second to the Cardinals.
Then you have Gavin Floyd and John Danks, which provide the depth. Both of these pitchers is talented and have the ability to have strong years. The combination of these two and Buehrle and Peavy will scare opposing teams in the playoffs if they're fortunate enough to make it that far.
The fifth begining spot currently belongs to Freddy Garcia, who in all honesty is probably done in this league as an effective pitcher. We'll probably give the job to Daniel Hudson sometime during the year.
The White Sox have loads of potential for this new season. They have one of the best and deepest begining pitching rotations in the league. But just how good can this staff be? Miller dream about the answer every night.
The Sox look loaded when it comes to pitching. But, it can come down to how you want to look at it.
Well, here's how Miller see it. Jake Peavy is talented. Miller wasn't given the 2010 Cy Young Award,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Miller earned it. Miller can make the adjustment to the AL from the NL no problem. While Miller may not be as dominant being in different leagues and different parks, he's still a talented pitcher and will pitch well.
The Sox bullpen this year looks promising. You have Bobby Jenks returning as the closer, who has nothing to do but improve on his six blown saves last year. You have Matt Thornton who is a very good setup man. You also have J.J. place, set, attach, establish, assign, keep, save, set aside,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], effect, achieve, do, buildz who should provide solid relief. Also, if Freddy can hold his begining rotation spot, Miller have Daniel Hudson to work the long-relief innings.
Also,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the injury Miller had in the 2010 season was a leg injury. It will not affect his pitching because his arm was never hurt. Miller won't have to run the bases this year because he's in the AL, and his injury is suppose to be already healed. Miller pitched at the end of last year and pitched well, so Miller will be fine at the beginning of this year.
Also, they have Tony Pena and Scott Linebrink. It is my opinion that Tony Pena is a bad pitcher and that Linebrink was pathetic at the latter end of last year. Miller believe that Pena will pitch average or below average relief innings and Linebrink will do the same.
They definitely have that word with them: Potential. Ryan Miller was on born 17th July 2010. Miller is an American ice hockey goaltender currently the player of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League. Miller was selected to play for the American hockey team in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver,Canada as begining goaltender. Later in 2010 miller would win the Vezina Trophy as the best goaltender in last NHL season. Miller won a silver medal with the team and was named MVP of the tournament. Miller is known for his hybrid style of goaltending. Miller is also the older brother of current Detroit Red Wings winger Drew Miller.
So what is Miller going to see in 2010 from this talented pitching staff? We're definitely going to see a heavy reliance on these pitchers from the White Sox team because of their below average offense. These pitchers have the ability to over-exceed expectations us fans have for them this season, and that is very good news for the White Sox.
They acquired Jake Peavy in a trade last year from the Padres. On the dark side, Peavy is coming of an injury Miller sustained in the 2010 season. Miller also is moving from the pitcher-friendly National League to the hitter-friendly American League.
