It is certainly more of the expected entertaining fare offered by the first film, perhaps lacking some of the pizzazz that made the first such a success, but it is, nonetheless gucci watches for men, a terrifically entertaining movie, with another fantastic performance from Robert Downey Jr. For those who can’t get enough of the Iron Man brand then it is worth staying till the end of the credits for the revelation that will lead to the third film; the discovery of Mjolnir replica gucci bags, the hammer of Thor, in a crater in New Mexico, setting up the next character we’ll meet in this enjoyable series of films, due for provisional release in the summer of 2011.
The rather originally titled Iron Man 2 is the much anticipated follow up to 2008’s smash hit blockbuster Iron Man, this time around Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow are joined by other big names such as Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Mickey Rourke, setting this up to be the expected all-star action blockbuster that it has long promised to be. But does it live up to the hype? Well, it is undoubtedly on its way to being a massive box office success, it was always going to achieve that much, so, perhaps a more pertinent question is, does it live up to its highly entertaining predecessor?
This realisation sends Stark on a downward spiral into his own psyche, fuelled by alcohol and partying, eventually falling off the radar completely, emphasised by his falling out with good friend James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) who, after an impressive fight in one of Stark's prototype Iron Man costumes, makes off with it, eventually teaming up with Stark’s rival Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) in making a super Iron Man.
Iron Man vs. Iron Man
This time around, the film follows the comically narcissistic, fast-talking, genius inventor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), in the immediate aftermath (following on from the end of the first film) of his admition that he is the mysterious hero, Iron Man, and how, in his own inimitable way, he deals with all of his new-found extra celebrity; he revels in it. However, he is certainly made to reconsider his position as the one and only Iron Man outlet gucci, when confronted at a Monaco driving rally by a disgruntled Russian designer Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke), apparantly claiming to be Iron Man plus one (electronic whips in tow).
With everything looking down for Stark, he is visited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), representing a mysterious group called They help Stark re-invent himself, changing his failing core system, and designing an even better Iron Man, and he duly gets himself back in the game just in time to take on the might of Vanko and his designed drone army. It all culminates with his reconciliation with accomplice James Rhodes, to take on, and ultimately defeat Vanko and his army.

Great Expectations?
Iron Man 2 lives up to all expectations, it isn’t quite the film that the first one was, but it was always going to be difficult to live up to the success and popularity of that film. All in all, this is certainly worth the admission charge, and more than welcomes in the annual summer blockbuster season.
