In this drum solo from 1970 he shows the cymbal and snare work that has lauded him as the King. If you look at some drummers some use flash along with chops but with Buddy it was all about chops.
Being a long time drummer I would pick this one video as one of the best drum solos of all time at least a drum solo that’s recorded. No one works a snare like Buddy. The guy was just amazing.
