In appending to creature a novel about the future, Accelerando is a novel of ideas. The novel addresses instantly important futuristic ideas such as the singularity, starwisps, mind uploads, material reconstruction, nanotechnology, and so much more.
A Novel About the Future - And of the Future
These aren't just touched above in the txt - they have indelible and permanent effects aboard the lives of the protagonists and their descendant. It is a speculative tale of the future, and exam of the intention of the person race. Sometimes fussy, sometimes supremely optimistic, it is at the very least an exciting romp through the realm of possibility.
Accelerando is at the outset a novel about the future. Stross' spares the reader not technical jargon - some portions of the book are so mellow with high-technology references that at some points you might for well bounce the paragraph and attempt apt pick up the chips a sheet afterward.
