Step by Step New York Pizza
There are very basic ingredients that are used:

One of the best ways to start is have a stone platter or unfinished ceramic pizza stone at hand, specifically made for pizza or homemade breads. Stretch out the dough slightly and let it sit out of the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours. (The dough with its yeast will rise slightly). Place the pizza stone into the oven set at 500°-525° or so for 15-20 minutes. Now fashion the dough into the desired pizza shape (round is always good), with a thicker rounded crust circling the pizza. Some like to put the pizza dough in the oven 5-10 minutes on top of the stone, to slightly cook it after it has been formed into the desired shape, but it will have to be taken out of the oven and placed in the work area to add the rest of the ingredients. It is very important to make sure that corn starch has been dusted over the pizza stone which will prevent the pizza from sticking.
d. Add whatever toppings that are desired.
f. Season the pizza with the oregano, if other seasonings are desired, use them judiciously, i.e. garlic powder.
e. Heavily sprinkle olive oil onto the pizza, although, do not saturate it.
